The BLT brothers really enjoyed their cool birthday balloons.  And L&T liked Brandon's version of "Happy Birthday to You."

BLT Bears

Da' Bears needed a breather and took a seat on the bench for some snacks and water to replenish their energy yesterday.

Somehow, we've been too busy to upload some vids we took over the past two months. Hope you enjoy them.

Emily and Matt's visit

Cousins Emily and Matt came all the way from Texas to see the BLT boys. It was so great to have them here for a few days--they are such great kids and the boys loved playing with them. Among the many fun moments: The guys discovering the air mattress we set up for Em and Matt downstairs. Uncle Marc came to CHI later in the week, and he, Em and Matt will return for a short visit Monday. It was great to see 3/4 of the Eckhart clan. :)

More fun at the beach

The Steele clan headed to the beach last Sunday. Fun was had by all (Logan in blue, Trevor in orange).

The dog days of summer

Since July arrived Chicago has been enjoying a long string of sunny, 80-degree-plus days. And the BLT boys have been having a lot of fun in our back yard, which looks exactly what a kids' back yard should look like: toys, pools, balls, sidewalk chalk, the works. When it gets particularly warm, we let the guys run around (slathered in sunscreen) in their swim diapers, regular diapers and (once or twice) in their birthday suits :) Enjoy these vids of Logan expressing his artistic side, Brandon having fun with the hose, and the guys enjoying a picnic (watch Brandon steal some of Trevor's sandwich).

Fun at at zoo

The BLT boys had a nice day at the Lincoln Park Zoo with Daddy and babysitter Heather. The guys thought the animals were cool (gorillas in particular) but they especially enjoyed running around and chasing the seagulls. (Trevor is in red, wearing his appropriate "I go fast" T-shirt).
